What am I thinking?

I was spending time with my friends Henry, Lisette, and their family- whom I haven’t seen for awhile- and something very interesting happened. Henry started asking me questions about the elections. I responded by saying, “the best thing you can do is work on yourself”. Now- even though I still hold that to be true, I don’t believe that isolating myself from what’s going on is right for me. I know I have valid reasons for not wanting to participate in the elections - such as Bush stealing the presidency and carrying out the agenda of the neo-cons and the mass media’s apparent brainwashing and distortion of information - but Henry’s questions angered me that day. Knowing that the way I feel is my responsibility, I had to ask myself why I was angered. I realized my anger had nothing to do with Henry and that my charge was due to the fact that I couldn’t truthfully answer his questions. I didn’t research all the candidates and just assumed the same old crap was going on: puppeteers pulling strings on both sides. To my surprise, I heard words from a candidate saying many of the things that I believed to be true for quite some time now. I’m talking about issues that were initially shocking to me, but the more I studied, researched, and experienced life with an open mind, they became common sense. I would only share these thoughts with friends and those who inquired about it because I did not want to face hostility or be an outcast. I guess I was too busy trying to be liked by everyone and fearing the consequences. Following that, I became a bit outspoken and started to protest and petition. That just fueled my anger and gave energy to what I didn’t want to create. So then I committed to the intention of working on myself, remembering who I am, and honestly relating to others without imposing on their free will.

Anyway, as a result of Henry’s questioning, I took advantage of this information age. I educated myself on the internet, a place where I can read information written by anyone, watch unedited video, and listen to what people say for themselves. For example, I remember the media slaughtering Rosie O’Donnell, labeling her as an America-hater, and I believed it because that’s what I heard. Well on YouTube, I came across the actual footage of what got her in to trouble on “The View”. She was basically speaking out about the media and asking questions about our government, 911, and the war- that which most celebrities are afraid to express. So I discovered that I had been condemning her for statements and actions that I happen to agree with. So in essence, what I advocate is to know for thyself. Don’t take my word for it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I respect and honor that. However, sometimes it is blatantly obvious when I hear repeated rhetoric that is fed to us from mainstream media and not coming from original thought that stems from critical thinking and asking one’s self deep questions.

It was amazing for me to see how accessible the same information is today that once labeled me as a wacko when I was in high school. Back then this information was mostly available by word of mouth from elders, books, and video cassette (Give thanks to my brother Jojo for providing to me). I remember telling my mom I believed things such as Jesus was married, intentional stamping out of the Mother Goddess, entities other than us exist as do other dimensions, a few attempting to control the world through instilling fear, the prophecies of 2012, and so on…
I know most will still believe I’m crazy, but my beliefs are not so far fetched today as they were when I was adamant and foolishly dogmatic about it. We all can choose to believe what we want. There is nothing wrong about that. I owe it to myself and others to be truthful and express myself honestly. I think it’s condescending to be fake and try to please others by putting on a show. I commend those who have been speaking their truth for a long time: Jesus, Buddha, Selassie, Malcolm X, Farrahkan, Drunvalo Melchizedek, Gregg Braden, Ramtha, Jelaila Starr, David Icke, Alex Jones, Jim Marrs are some that come to mind. Such celebrities as Arsenio Hall, Charlie and Martin Sheen, Sean Penn, Rosie O’Donnell, the Dixie Chicks, Montel, Mark Cuban, Michael Moore, Jon Stewart, Letterman, Phil Donahue, Bill Hicks, Barry Cooper, and Republican candidate Ron Paul to name a few. Please save your comments if I missed people’s names or some that I mentioned don’t seem to know the big picture because then your missing the point. These people have gathered their own information, come to their own conclusions, and declared them. To me, its not about who’s right or wrong. That is relevant to your individual values and outcomes you want to manifest. It’s about exercising our God given birthright to think for ourselves and the freedom to express ourselves honestly. In today’s world, its hard to say what we feel and not be condemned for it.

I believe our feelings are of utmost importance. We need to preserve our liberties and educate ourselves because we have the power to decide our own fate. Why else would there be so much effort to inject programming? All time is now. Making a conscious choice today can change how we feel about the past, bring new to the present, and alter future outcomes.

If anything, I wrote this for us (including myself) to ponder. You can disregard it, read it again, respond to it, love it, hate it, agree or disagree with it, erase it, or post it somewhere else. It did come from love and compassion. I am that I am. So be it.

More Life and More Love,

What is Huna?

Why did the ancient people of the Earth not need coaches, experts, gurus, consultants or psychotherapists?

Why was mental dis-ease virtually unknown in Hawai'i prior to 1820?

Why is the land of Hawai'i even today one of the most blessed spots on Earth?

What is present in Hawai'i tradition that is missing in other places?

For a long time prior to 750 A.D., there flourished a system of personal development, healing, and spiritual discipline that was known by "everyone." The system was a balanced system -- one that honored men and women equally. There were almost no secrets; in fact, there were so few secrets that the information that comprised the techniques wasn't even organized or formally taught. It just formed the background of "how it was" in the world.

There are only remnants of this system around the Earth, because starting in 325 A.D. (it may have started as early as several thousand years B.C., but the effects were definitely under way by 325 A.D.) a wave began to sweep around the planet in an attempt to destroy the balanced systems -- the original teachings of the peoples of the Earth. The wave hit Hawaii sometime between 750 and 1250 A.D. At that time, the Kahuna Pa'ao, arrived in Hawaii, and found a very peace-loving people living in a paradise.

Several years later Pa'ao returned with a number of warriors and priests, and overturned the original system in Hawaii. When Pa'ao arrived, he installed his system, and the original teaching was changed. The old order was overturned, and the current order of Ku was installed.

The Huna that we teach predates the teaching of Pa'ao. So it is very ancient -- from before 750 A.D. We believe that before 750 A.D. the balanced order that existed was a balanced system that could be called The Order of 'Io. This is true all over the world. The balanced Male/Female system in western Europe was called Wicca, and like Huna it was attempted to wipe this teaching out. The Holy Inquisition conducted by "The Church," for example, reduced the population of Spain by more than 50% in 200 years, killing hundreds of thousands of people. In India, too, a system called Tantra was attempted to be wiped out by the newer system called Vedanta. Although Tantra fared better than Wicca, both systems were subjected to much persecution. The situation was the same all over the world, from the Native Americans, to the Aboriginals of Australia, each of the peoples bearing the original teachings were (and, be sure, still are) subjected to an attempt to eradicate the culture, and the teachings. In Hawaii, fortunately. the original teachings were hidden in the chants of the Ancient Ones -- when the original teachings were overturned they went underground. The original teachings were hidden inside of the chants and the Hulahula (Hula dances), and they have waited. They have waited, hidden, for a long, long time. The newer arrivals adopted chants and Hulahula which contained mysteries hidden to them but which were simply waiting for a rebirth of the original teachings.

The teachings were buried again (to a second level) in the ancient chants when the Missionaries arrived from Boston in 1820. Their arrival was not accidental, since the more modern Hawaiian system (order of Ku), called the Kapu system had been ended by King Kamehameha VI in 1819.

Once again the new priests brought their new gods, and the original teachings were buried even deeper. The Missionaries began to do away with the old "superstitious ways." In 1820, they passed the first of the laws that were designed to eradicate the ancient teachings:

"'Section 1034: Sorcery -- Penalty, Any person who shall attempt the cure of another by
the practice of sorcery, witchcraft, ananna (sic), hoopiopio, hoounauna, or
hoomanamana, or other superstitious or deceitful methods, shall, upon conviction
thereof, be fined in a sum not less than one hundred dollars or be imprisoned not to
exceed six months at hard labor.' There is also another section of the law which classes
the kahuna with bunco men and defines him as one posing as a kahuna, taking money
under pretense of having magical power, or admitting he is a kahuna. For this the fine
goes up to a thousand dollars and a year in prison."
-- Long, 1948

So, in a Pacific Island nation influenced by American Missionaries, the people were disallowed from practicing their original teachings until the federal government of the United States passed the Native American Religious Freedoms Act in 1979. Amazingly, in 1953 the Kahuna, Daddy Bray, was arrested for chanting a chant in the Hawaiian language at Hulihee Palace in downtown Kona -- a chant quite similar to a chant we teach at our Huna seminars in Hawaii.

We believe the final law against the practice of the ancient ways was repealed in 1989. But it was predicted that this would happen. Today, the entire planet is experiencing a revival of the old teachings, where once again we will experience the return of the balanced systems of teaching.

ASTROLOGY - Stephanie's Daily Forecast 1-1-2008

Happy New Year and welcome to the first of eight 1:1:1 Star Gates for 2008. It is fitting that the Moon is in the via combusta today, as it generates exciting fiery energies that are in perfect alignment with the vibration of the year ahead.

Star Gates happen when the numbers align and a portal of consciousness opens as a result. Downloads of information then pour through this portal in the form of light streams of consciousness. Triple Star Gates pour through the Galactic Core, where Jupiter and Pluto have just begun their latest 13 year cycle. Pluto prepares to move into Capricorn in a few more weeks, but he will retrograde back into Sagittarius and spend much of the year ahead in the Sagittarius/Galactic Core vibration. There is no mistake about any of this.
1:1:1 is the manifestation (3) of beginnings (1). One is leadership, creation and the power to make happen what has never before been realized. In order to receive the download from a Star Gate, we must be open. Open Open Open. Begin this day with meditation. If you don’t meditate, sit still and focus your mind on your breath or on a candle flame. This will put your mind on one point and you will notice how quiet it becomes inside your head. This is the beginning of stillness. Stillness is where we need to be if we’re going to manifest anything new at all.

So get still and open your mind, your eyes, your hands and your heart to all that you are being given today. You won’t know what the information is as it comes to you, so don’t use your mind to try and understand. Star Gates must be received at the heart level as it is only the heart that can make any sense out of the Truth it receives.

The Moon is in Libra today and she aspects all the outer planets, Saturn and Mars. This means the information we receive is universally oriented and deals with relationships. As we all know, the only relationship there is is the one we have with our self, and most importantly, with our higher Self, or Source. Mastery is the order of the year, and in order to master our Selves we must learn to leave the old way of living behind us now. That means no more drama, no more addiction, no more emotional attachment.

Each of you reading this is a Lightworker and as such you signed on to be a leader for the human race to make its way into the 5th Dimension, taking our Beloved Earth with us. By this time in 2012 we will be living fully in the 5th Dimension, a dimension of Love and Light, where what we know of each other is energetic and we can recognize the spirit in all things.

So we have 5 years to practice living in the New Light and leading everyone around us into this new dimension. We are leaders, but we are not special. It is vital to understand that we are all One and no one is more or less than anyone else. This movement, from 3D to 4D to 5D is an inside job. Practice Being the Love you are and you will automatically lead everyone you know by example.

That this is an inside job is expressed by the one aspect to an inner planet today, a Moon Mars trine. Mars is retrograde and out of bounds. We are in new inner territory. We must be turned inward to receive these 1:1:1 Star Gates, and all of the important consciousness they offer. The Moon goes into a void after this Mars aspect and emerges in Scorpio later this evening. Great inner transformations are slated for 2008. It’s an inside job and more than ever this year we will realize how profoundly the world around us mirrors our own personal Truth.

Make your personal Truth one of Love and Communion with the Souls around you. We are truly all One and this year we get to live it and breathe it and manifest it into the World. As we do, the planet will be born again, and we will witness the emergence of a new World, which by our own personal contributions, we are manifesting. We are truly co-creating this world with Source. Truly, at the highest aspect of our Selves, we ARE Source. We are becoming God-realized. Here’s to the year of Enlightenment!

”It’s in every one of us
To be Wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why
It’s in every one of us
By and By.”
