Desiderata (Desired Things)

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrenderbe on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly;and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

READ EVERYDAY :)

The law of attraction creates a cocoon, so to speak, of like energy around each personality so that as it seeks to heal its anger, or its fear, or its jealousy, the metamorphosis process into wholeness is intensified and accelerated, is brought to the center of the stage of awareness. The personality sees its anger or its fear not only within itself, but everywhere outside itself as well. If the personality chooses consciously to heal its anger, or its fear, every circumstance, every encounter becomes irritating or fearful as the Universe compassionately responds to its desire to become whole.

As the anger, of the fear within a personality builds, the world in which it lives increasingly reflects the anger, of the fear, that it must heal, so that eventually, ultimately, the personality will see that its creating its own experiences and perceptions, that its righteous anger or justifiable fear originates within itself, and therefore can be replaced by other perceptions and experiences only through the force of its own being.

Just as frequency of anger evokes a like frequency in the consciousness of those around an angry personality, the frequency of love awakens also like responses. It is the intention that determines the effect.

We are destined to evolve beyond the nature of duality, Duality is that which is understood in time and space. As you evolve beyond that, and also when you leave your physical body and journey home to your nonphysical plane of reality, you will not exist in dualism, and that sense of the wrathful, or sorrowful, or fearful self that you think of as present to you now will evaporate. It has no power in the realm beyond duality where there exists the perfection of all that is. When you leave your physical form, you will join the nonphysical level of reality that is appropriate to your vibrational frequency at the time that you leave your incarnation.

West Covina RESOLUTION BOOT CAMP Class 3

Many things were against us meeting this past weekend... I'm thankful for those who came. I know it was tough. Our session was smaller than usual which allowed me to give a greater degree of attention to each person's needs and preferences. We worked on movements for increasing mobility and range of motion in the shoulders and knees, and exercises for strengthening the ankles.

We got through our drills added some plyometric training, some jiu-jitsu warm ups , worked with kali- sticks and put on the gloves... got to the meditation and the beautiful misty morning cleared up in to bright blue skys. It was awesome!!!

West Covina RESOLUTION BOOT CAMP Class 2

On the 2nd Day of RESOLUTION BOOT CAMP, we all got into the flow - quality of movement and mindset greatly increased!! All participants from the first class visibly increased in stamina, agility, flexibility and strength. I welcome the new people that came in as they made it all the more fun. I see this group making fast and significant progress... Saturday mornings at 7 already shows character of commitment to making change.

This first month is dedicated to the element of Air - associated with mental activity, organization, commitment, assessment, rules and beliefs. Having clarity before making decisions and goals. Clearing out the clutter from the inside out. Clearing inner debris to connect with your own wisdom, for the understanding of who you are can never be told by another. This is the First Pillar of Wellness - Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Well-being.

Next class I will be doing client profiles free for my class. I may not get to everyone so first come first serve. Your personal profile is pivotal for setting goals and laying down a solid foundation.

Lets keep putting effort into the things that create positive change!

West Covina RESOLUTION BOOT CAMP Class 1

All the participants in West Covina did very well on the first day of boot camp. What I enjoyed seeing was a group of people willing to better themselves and take care of their bodies.

No matter where you come from, what you do, or what you believe in, everyone comes to boot camp with a common mindset to be proactive about health, fitness and to have fun!! My experience has shown this type of atmosphere to be greatly self rewarding, motivational and effective in achieving all your goals.

Congratulations guys!! It only gets better… See you next Saturday!!

Some things are just meant to be lived...

Blessing to see my man Davey D from the Bay Area. His openness, honesty, and love for Bob Marley pretty much sums it up. Lookin' forward to future projects with the bredren.

I had an amazing experience this morning. Dani and I took Ayin to look at schools. We had a tour at "New City School" in Long Beach and we walked in during the morning session of singing and music that begins each day. There were about 150 kids seated indian style on the floor singing along with the music teacher strumming the acoustic guitar, teaching songs in a game fashion. I couldn't help but to embrace the energy. I immediately envisioned my friends Finbar playing the guitar and Amber singing to the children at the "Still Revival Center". Experiences like that spark fire in me to create a space to recreate and share those experiences that are hard to convey with words. Some things are just meant to be lived.
